Embedded Linux · Firmware · Connected systems

Engineering that ships from silicon to cloud.

I am Kamran Danish, an embedded systems engineer at EPTeck GmbH (Germany). I design Yocto platforms, secure boot and OTA pipelines, C/C++ firmware, and full product stacks—field devices, backends, dashboards, and mobile apps—for energy, medical, industrial, and agritech products.

Full-stack ownership on connected devices

On in-house products I own architecture, planning, firmware, connectivity, backend APIs, operator dashboards, and mobile experiences—so hiring teams can see systems thinking, not just board bring-up.

Agritech · Global recognition

Rewellx — Smart irrigation

Lead engineering · Firmware, backend, web dashboard, mobile app · Planning & delivery

Rewellx is EPTeck’s connected irrigation platform for farms and greenhouses. I drove product planning and built the full vertical stack: edge control of pumps and valves, sensor telemetry, scheduling, remote overrides, and cloud-side services that power the operator dashboard and field mobile app.

  • Architecture and milestone planning across hardware, embedded, backend, and client apps.
  • Pump/irrigation control logic, telemetry pipelines, and user-facing scheduling on web and mobile.
  • Backend services and REST/API layer consumed by dashboard and app teams.
  • 2nd place worldwide, Global AgriInno Challenge 2021 (UN FAO / agritech innovation program).

Recon — Energy analyzer

Embedded Linux & product engineering · Measurement, edge compute, dashboard

Recon is an EPTeck energy-analyzer product line for monitoring and understanding power consumption in commercial and industrial settings. Work spans accurate acquisition on the device, edge processing of metrics, reliable uplink to services, and a dashboard for trends, alerts, and operational decisions.

  • Energy measurement pipeline: sampling, aggregation, and time-series friendly export.
  • Embedded platform bring-up, services, and field-update strategy aligned with product releases.
  • Integration with industrial buses (Modbus TCP/RTU) and standard IP connectivity.
  • Dashboard for facility managers: consumption views, device health, and configuration workflows.

Background

Embedded-first, continuously learning

B.E. Electrical Engineering, DHA Suffa University (Karachi). Based in Germany, working with EPTeck GmbH on embedded Linux for European energy, medical, and industrial clients, plus in-house connected products.

I am strongest where hardware meets software: boot chains, drivers, update infrastructure, and the services that make devices usable in production. I work in C and C++ daily, with Python and shell for automation, CI, and test harnesses.

Languages: English (professional). Citizenship: Pakistan.
